Big Bible Blunders

There are many problems with the bibles that people are embracing these days. The first point to make would be the apostate Masoretic Text (MT). The Masorites were of those Jews who rejected Jesus Christ as their Lord. A little review of history will help us understand.

One reason people have used the Hebrew MT is that they believe it is the “original” language. Nothing could be further from the truth. Most people will agree that Moses wrote the first 5 books of what has become known as the Old Testament, Genesis, Exodus, etc. People that think Hebrew was the original language miss a very significant point, that Hebrew was not even a language till 1,000 years after Moses. When Israel began using Hebrew, guided by God as some were, no doubt they made a good Hebrew text. In no way can anyone rightly say that Hebrew is the original language of all those Sacred Scriptures before the time of the Jesus Christ.

Furthermore, centuries before the time of Jesus Christ, the land of Israel had changed to a Greek culture, where the common language was common Greek. At this time 70 scribes set out to make a translation of the Old Testament into Greek. Since all 70 scribes unanimously and independently agreed every word it was known as having been inspired by God. Of even more significance is that centuries later, when the Saviour finally arrived, this is what we see Him reading from in the Temple. It so happens that the righteous prophet and priest Simeon, who was told that he would not depart this life till he saw the Lord with his own eyes, was one of those scribes who worked on what is now called the Septuagint (for 70, or LXX). This scribe who assisted in inspired translation into Greek was found worthy to see the fulfillment of the Scriptures, giving his blessing to the Holy Family at the circumcision of the Lord. The Church has recorded that Simeon “was at least three times over a centenarian” or over 300 years old, when he died. After the Lord rose victoriously from the dead, and ascended on high, His apostles and Church have always used the LXX exclusively for the Old Testament.

Now, let's bring in the group of Masorites. They decided that the Christians were using the LXX so effectively that they needed to make their own translation into Hebrew from the LXX in order to offset what the Christians were doing. In so doing these apostates made every effort possible to show that the Lord was not the Messiah. This apostate translation of the Septuagint into Hebrew, known as the MT, is not to be construed as the original language of the Old Testament. A Catholic scholar around the 1500's was responsible for bringing the MT to European universities. There is no good reason for modern bibles to esteem the MT; this is one big problem with modern bibles.

What is known as the New Testament also needs to be taken into consideration. King James (who did use the antichrist MT as a basis for his Old Testament) so imposed his will on the KJV that his name was forced into the text. The word “James” is not a translation of any word found in the Sacred Scriptures. Yet we find his name over and over, replacing the Greek name Iakovos.

Besides that, when we speak about King James what we really need to be understanding is that the Church of England, whom he was protector of, was deep in Papal heresies for centuries and has never recoverd from the experiace. Consequently it is no wonder that the “scriptures” of King James could never be in keeping with sound faith.

The whole lot of protestantism is quite unable to present to the world anything even close to Scripture.

As the KJV is very well known I have used it on my site to quote certain scriptural ideas that I hope might make people take a second look at what is going on. If a different reading in English expresses the ideas significantly better I have also used that. I believe that there are more accurate English translations of the Scriptures than the KJV but none that I would call “inspired” or “sacred” in anyway way.
