Burial Script and Crown
This is one of the documents that I picked up while visiting Woodburn, Oregon years ago. It is like the Old Slavonic handwritten “passport” which is to be placed in the clutched right hand of the deceased for presentation along their journey. The strips show what is placed around the crown that is set around their forehead and also the bands which go around the ankles and left wrist.
