Ivan Fedorov’s 1574 Apostol
This is a very old edition of the lectionary readings from the book of Acts and the Epistles (as the book of Revelation is not read liturgically it is not inlcuded) written basically by the Apostle’s. All the pages can be seen in JPG images from this web site
web site. Fedorov made the first printed book in Russia (in the Old Slavonic language which is based on the Ancient Greek). It is an Apostol, or Evangelion, from 1564. Ivan had assistance by Petr Mstislavets. The printed edition shown here is from ten years later. This is an example of pre-Nikonian slavonic. Here is a
