'Harmony', as stated by the Masonic publication ‘Pythagore - Equerre’ (vol. 4, part 7 - 8, 1935).
His brothers-successors were also high-ranking Masons. Basileus III (Georgiadis) was a member of the English lodge ‘Valewood’;
Athenagoras (Spire) (the one who willfully lifted the anathema off the Latin’s) was
a 30th degree Mason in the lodge ‘Athenian East’ (Orthodoxos Typos, 16.7.1982); the late Dimitri (Papandopulos), too, was one
of them.” [from the Bart link below] |

If they act, walk and talk like masons, guess what, they are masons. This
is yet another area where they cannot have it both ways, either one is against satan and roots out his work, or one allows harm to remain
indefinitely. There are more than enough references to understand the situation
here. For such a fraternity as Freemasonry there is not always a *roll card*
made public. But believe me, there are many who know these occurrences by
witnessing the events themselves. Their testimony should not be ignored. I would just mention that the word “cult” is sometimes used in a negative way towards masonry. But the word designates a system of religious rituals, which in itself is not negative. I do think Freemasonry is false at best, but other similar terms such as “sect” have been used against even Christ Himself in certain translation of the Gospels. The use of such words do not always carry much weight if we think about it.

The Grand Lodge of Greece the official Famous Masons list reveals these clergy and politians to be members, if false it would have been corrected by now: Ecumenical Patriarch Joachim III; Patriarch of Alexandria Photius (George Peroglou); Ecumenical Patriarch Meletius (Manuel Metaxakis); Ecumenical Patriarch Basil III; Patriarch of Jerusalem Benedict (Basil Papadopoulos); Bishop Cherubim (Anninos) - Metropolitan of Paronaxia; Bishop Chrysanthus (Charilaus Philippides) - Metropolitan of Trebizond, later Archbishop of Athens; Prince of Greece Andrew; Prince of Greece Christopher; King of Greece George II; Politician John Kapodistrias (Komis) first ruler of Greece; Politician John Metaxas (Prime Minister).

This WebSite explains that the Serbian Orthodox Church in America is led by a publicly open Freemason (Christopher the Malevolent) and more importantly that most of the Serbian and Greek Diaspora is Masonic at one level or another. [No doubt they work for that Freemason money and other overtly Mason attributes of this society.]
There is an official Serbian Orthodox Freemason web page for their ASERB lodge group. Also take a look at this interesting Message Board where it will be found that, “The ASERB meet once a month in the halls of Serbian Eastern Orthodox Churches in the tri-state area to conduct their charitable work.” It also says, “A Serbian [un]Orthodox Priest graciously consented to officiate over the cutting of the Kolach and offered prayers for all of the ‘living ASERB’ as well as the ‘departed Brethren’! (The Kolach is an ornately decorated, round ceremonial bread.) All satanic Freemasons present were reminded of the importance of the orthodox faith and to always keep it foremost in their hearts.” Also the photo below is offered, showing the proudly displayed Freemason emblem (previous behind the moved potted flower) on the headstone. Notice also that the priest(?) has his pectoral cross hiding off in a side pocket!?!? [Should not a priestly pectoral cross be seen? When were pockets ever to be part of clerical garb? Everything is all mixed up and upside down here. I guess we should not be surprised.]

Serbian Priest Andrew Phillips
says that in Cyprus, before the World War I, Patriarch Meletios was the first Orthodox bishop to become a freemason. [This 500 KB
PDF file has an undeniable amount of references (and clarifies much) detailing how Patriarch Meletios learned a lot about Freemasonry in Cyprus, but was actually initiated into Freemasonry at the Harmony Lodge in Constantinople towards the beginning of 1909. Another note I would make is that on the official web site for the Grand Lodge of Greece they list Ecumenical Patriarch Joachim III as a member so he is the earliest direct reference so far to an Ecumenical Patriarch actually being a Freemason that I know. Though Fr. Andrew’s points are interesting he is obviously not aware of all details.] Fr. Andrew says that Prince Alexander Golitsyn (1773-1844), the head of the Holy Synod (and also head of the Russian Bible Society), a member of the State Council as well as minister of education and commander of the 1st Russian Army, supported Freemasonry. It is no surprise, because it is well known that the prince was good friends with the liberal Tsar Alexander I. Russia has been neck deep in satanic Freemasonry for centuries. Father Andrew warns that these satanic secret societies are multiplying. I agree and would add that they are not only full-grown but are becoming obese, so watch out, or they might just fall on you. Another thing about Serbian Freemasons, they have a group called Young Serbia which is equivalent to the Demolays in America that President Bill Clinton joined.
The Regular Grand Masonic Lodge of Serbia says, “In 1908...King Peter Karageorgevich or his son Prince Aleksandar” were proposed to be the Grand Master of the Lodge of Serbia. To be proposed as Grand Master one must first be a Mason. The information at the link goes on to say how an Orthodox Christian Bishop (representing the Orthodox Church) attended the Masonic funeral service of a Grand Master Mason. There is precise documentation of Masonry in Serbia going back at least to the 18th century.
What was somewhat hidden, but is now the famous Serbian Monastery of Decani, was built in the 14th century by Freemasons who brought along many unorthodox things, like the stone relief of the heretical God the Father icon above its Church entrance.
The Constitution of the Grand Lodge of Russia
Freemasonry entered Russia in the 18th century, under figures like Schwarz, Lopukhin and the journalist Novikov (1744-1818). Catherine the [not so] Great openly allowed Freemasonry into Russia, it was also during her reign that the heretical Roman Catholic church of St. Catherine was built in St. Petersburg. Freemasonry then became instrumental in the Decembrist revolt of 1825 and the newspapers where under their control. Even some anti-masonic politics in Russia from the last century has been used to further Freemason ideals.
Russian Orthodox Church: “Any Orthodox who joins Masonry
loses all the rights and privileges of his membership in the Church.” (Strange
Altars,
Acker, page 60). [By the time of that publication the whole of Russian society had completely succumbed to Freemasonry, so the statement is practically pointless. Hopefully a few people will realize what is really happening before it is too late.]

Patriarch Bartholomew was seen on a jet airliner in his going to meeting attire, wearing his “Mason Suit” complete with necktie (Freemasons are required to wear a suit and tie to their meetings, but Orthodox rules forbid clergy to do this). Neckties are noted as being a noose, something that Judas (who betrayed Christ with a kiss) was know for using. None of us should be putting a knot under our chin. As St. Irenaeus says, “The knot of Eve’s disobedience was loosed through the obedience of Mary; for what Eve, a virgin, bound by her unbelief, that Mary, a virgin, unloosed by her faith” [Against the Heresies, III, xxii, 4]. We ought not dress according to a Freemason, the Stoglav Council forbids it. Bartholomew never denied being a Freemason (Orthodoxos Typos, October 30, 1992). Freemasons often keep silent on such matters due to the secret nature of their organization. The paper Orthodoxos Typos on December 9, 1988, says, “The leadership of many local new calendar Churches – that is, bishops, other clergy, theologians, etc. – have been overcome by Masonry.”

Above is a photo of the Freemason style occult All-Seeing Eye of Osiris (or some part of the Wedjat Eye-cycle pertaining to his father Horus), it is an icon on a monastery building at Mt. Athos. Being identical to ones in Esphigmenou, it can also be seen on the back of our one dollar bill. There is no good Orthodox example of anything like this. The Stoglav Church council forbids images from foreign lands, and this image is unquestionably of pagan Egyptian origin. It is best to stay as far away as possible from such unholy things.
The double-headed eagle has always been one of the most prevalent emblems of Freemasonry and made its way into the Orthodox Churches centuries ago. This was a direct result of the Masonic Frankish knights of the Masonic Templar Crusaders who sacked
Constantinople. In fact, it was the pagan Hittites (being part of Masonic history) who are now known to be the original source of the 2-headed eagle. Changes have been made to sites like Wikipedia since I first began to explain the history of how the 2-headed eagle became part of the Orthodox churches. There might be something to the fable of an eleventh century Byzantine emperor, Isaac I Komnenos (an Armenian heretic?), fighting a double-headed eagle and returning affected by his experience. But the demonic image was not yet made a part of the Byzantine Christian Empire as an official symbol. The fable seems very closely related to the same Komnid Byzantine Dynasty of John II Komnenos, who in the twelfth century made alliances with the Frankish/German Holy Roman Empire of the heretical west for military purposes (Hitler also used the double-eagle). Around the year 1128 A.D. Alpha Galates and Vaincre represent an internecine struggle within French Freemasonry and the Rectified Scottish Rite’s war in the Grand Orient. The French Revolution of 1789 placed more temporal powers into the ever-greedy and masonically-led bourgeoisie. Famous Frenchmen include Voltaire, Diderot and Mozart.
We see that, “As early as the eighth century, French Masons were being organized and instructed by the Frankish king Charles Martel” (The Templar Code for Dummies, p.184). The satanic Freemason double-headed eagle is traceable, through Hungary and Armenian use, to the Crusaders. So there are these instances where the devilish double-headed eagle shows up in the earlier history of the Byzantine Empire, but they are not an example of Orthodox Christianity, they are rather a foreshadowing of more terrible things to come. Official Byzantine Church use of the double-headed eagle began in 1204, influenced by the Frankish Crusaders who sacked it in that very year. These type of things are what developed into the Inquisition and other atrocities, we ought to have no part with them. So I would point out that the Abomination of Desolation (doube-headed eagele) beginnings in Byzantium where even prior to 1204. The Old Believers have always seen the double-headed eagle and double snake symbols, that are in the New-Rite, as being the Mark of the Beast and innovations which are not part of ancient piety. There was only one bronze serpeent that Moses held up (a significant point of divergence there), and if the snakes represent enemies in this case they certainly do not look vanquished.
In Russia, the two-headed eagle was not part of the emperor coronation (or coat of arms) until the reign of Alexis, when Nikon weaseled his way into being Patriarch. There might be some truth to the seal Ivan IV eventually becoming a two-headed eagle, after all his mother was Byzantine princess. But the Russian Church worked against his mother marrying his father. Ivan IV, who was later called Grozny (the Terrible), did not use the 2-headed seal until the end of his life when he married a Muslim. The original Stoglav Council, so important to the Old Believers, did not have the two-head seal on it. So it is clear that the double-headed eagle in Russia can be attributed to the evil influences of the fallen Greeks. This did not affect the Russian Church immediately. For instance, it is very significant that the new double-headed staff of Russian bishops was first introduced with the Nikonites. This shows that the double-headed eagle was not part of the Russian Church until the Western Latinizing Masonic adaptations of Patriarch Nikon and Tsar Alexis. The Old Russian bishop staff has always been the simple and original Christian anchor. Peter I was the first Tsar to put the two-headed eagle in the Russian Naval flag. The 2-headed eagle was not thoroughly present in Russia until the Romanov dynasty and should be understood as something which was not originally part of the Russian Orthodox Christian Faith.
The two-headed eagle is a Freemason imposition onto what was Christianity. It is a corruption, like a cancer. The double-headed eagle is a grand representation of the heretical influence which came from Frankish Freemasonry and now has made its way into every modern style Orthodox church today. We should all recognize the introduction of the abnormal double-headed eagle as a forerunner of satanic Freemasonry from ancient times. It is also interesting to notice how those who believe a new Tsar will be revived in Russia use the 2-headed eagle as a symbol. Some say the Romanov’s were 100% German and that might not be too far off. The false churches adapted the two-headed eagle after their Empire had been thoroughly invaded by the Masons, not the other way around (Absolutely nobody can say the double-headed eagle is Christian). From the start of Freemasonry the two-headed eagle has represented Lucifer. The double-headed eagle should clearly shows to us the presence of the Abomination of Desolation. Another point is that during the 1800s there began to appear three crowns on the double-headed eagle, one on each of the eagle heads, the other in the middle and just above the other two. Though uncanonical, this supposedly represented the Holy Trinity. In truth it is the unholy trinity, like the “troeperstie” in the New-Rite Sign of the Cross. Below is the old Masonic 33° badge for comparison. Another problem with these heads are their example of iconographically depicting attributes, which is a condemned heresy.

Freemasons claim to be the first society using this satanic symbol.
We might see how other issues play a part in this slow break down of Orthodox Empires. This all started with Byzantium in 1204 when the Masonic Crusaders pillaged the once great city. Constantinople’s downfall became total in 1453 by the Turks who are now masons as well. Then in Russia it began with Ivan the Terrible in the 16th century and finally wiping out the Orthodox Church by the hands of Nikon in the 17th century (some wrongly say the last vestige of the Russian Empire left in the 20th century). This is how it develops. Freemasonry can then be tied into American Indian Prophecy with the
2-headed snake which ends up devouring all the towns and cities. They say it is no coincidence that the bald eagle is an American symbol. The debut of the two-headed eagle can be attributed to a foreshadowing of eventual ruin to those rulers that take it.
