The 1643 Prologue
In 1643 Moscow finished printing its first Prologue, The Lives of the Saints are a Historical Synaxarion (a gathering of Saints, or Menologion). It begins with the Church New Year in what most people know as the month of September. The readings of the Saints Lives follow for each day. It is nice to have in the pure Old Slavonic edition.
